Backgrounds
I default to transparent backgrounds unless specified.
Plain colors, gradients and basic fuzzy blocked out backgrounds will be added on for free to your commission if you desire one
Simple
Consists of just a couple lines elements. Leaves, Water, Simple Ground Textures.
Not alot of detail put into the background but still done.
30$+
Medium
More effort than simple. Can be a lot of line art and just not a lot of shading, or might be more details in one area than another. OR just an easier than complex background to do.
40$+
Complex
I spend a lot of time on the background. Might take more time than the characters. (Usually does) Lots of shading and details. Lots of elements in the background to make it more interesting
55$+
These all go for colored and shaded backgrounds. If you want just sketched, lined or base color backgrounds I'll likely knock the prices of the background down
Animation
The amount of effort will be the changing factor in the animation. Something fully lined is going to be far more expensive than an animated sketch
This depends on what you have in mind. Animation can be a small simple GIF image of your character moving, all the way to a more complex full animation to some music.
Depending on the length and effort I'll have to put into it will greatly effect the price.
The starting is usually about 80$+ but increases fast depending on what you want
It is a heavily discussed process to determine the price of these
For Simple characters doing a simple animation with no background. Its going to be on the length of it and how much the character is moving (And how complicated the design is)
Simpler 4 frame animations like this to bop along to music will be about 80$+
